Oticon Real

Wait for Autumn - maybe there will be a superpower Polaris R hearing aid. Your best option will be to program two same hearing aids - one to lowest limit and other one to higher limit. Both will work with all binaural features.

After the comments here on domes vs molds I will be trying a different Duke audiologist who is more familiar with Oticon and their product offerings.

@prodigyplace: Bruce , I didn’t want to rain on your parade by saying anything, but I think that this is a great decision on your part. As you know, I wish you heartfelt sincere good wishes for your success with your genuine Oticon™️ brand More hearing aids.

May you have as good performance from them as I am getting from mine, (battery issues, notwithstanding).

The first audiologist even suggested 85 receivers with canal locks while stating I am outside their range. Looking at Oticon’s mold options I need someone knowledgeable.

There are a variety of Oticon Real downloadable specs, user manuals, etc. available (be sure to choose “Real” on the left side of the screen)

@Bucco: I must be doing something wrong because when I go to the “Professionals” line, and click on it, nothing directly related to Real HAs pops right off the page.

This isn’t a facetious question: what am I doing wrong?

At the top of the Professionals menu it is white text on a black background.

@prodigyplace: Thanks, Bruce. I’ll try it after supper.

Thanks @Zebras. I saw this on eBay but the wording “Desc” after the Oticon is causing a confusion. I could not find the description in the Oticon website. I thought it was an old model or something is not right. The price is very attractive and it is a powerful model (Xceed 1). I do hope it is suitable for my hearing loss but need to consult the Audi for an opinion.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks @Volusiano. From Genie 2, it show More 1 is suitable for my hearing loss only if it fine tune properly by the Audi. How about the molds & 105db mic? Power dome or acrylics mold.

Hi Jim, there is a 13 hour difference from you country. I am very happy with all the comments. Trying to decide what to do in order to get my hearing back. Give me time…

Mine are totally sealed. No escape hatch :sunglasses:

If you click on the blue link, this is what you will see:

Hi all. I use Phonak Paradise P90. Unfortunately, when buying, I was not offered to try Oticon. I’m wondering if there is a significant difference compared to other brands for similar money? The description of the Deep Neural Network (DNN) sounds enticing. As far as I know, Phonak does not use a neural network.

Progress update: our Real Minirite R demos shipped yesterday. They should land today or Monday depending on the courier.

I’ll have a play when they come in.

I’m assuming that the European supply chain is loaded and ready to go; at least in a preliminary sense.

I was looking from my phone and had to select View all first. You show that as a tab. The docs do not appear under Professionals.
