I killed all apps and restarted the iPhone. As expected, all HA functionality is accessible via MFI screen panel. There’s no improvement or degradation of audio quality as compared to accessing functions via ON app.
But, since doing this, ConnectClip phone volume has decreased by 50% or more.
When I reboot the ON app and re-pair the ConnectClip, all HA functions are accessible, with audio quality equally good as when iPhone bypasses the app and streams directly to the aids.
In this configuration, phone audio is still diminished by 50% as compared with the audio, pre-experiment.
I don’t understand ANY of this, but I find it weird. I think I should scrub everything and reinstall/re-pair.
[I’m not doing anything without further instructions from you guys. @cvkemp and @biggar . Just to reinforce the issues I’m attempting to correct:
-
The ON app keeps disconnecting and screwing up my usage data,
-
Incoming phone audio is too faint and thin to be useable, except when using the Music program,
-
Bluetooth connection of HAs to the ON app is unstable. ]
