Reminds me of waiting for the ConnectClip when the OPN aids first came out. It was a LONG wait Oticon seems to announce some things well before they are ready ā¦
I made a note where I wrote it is expected 2-2025 but I donāt recall the source. I was trying to distinguish the TV Adapter and Connectclip so was making some calls and doing other internet searches. I was interested in the Easy LE Adapter to attach to my computer to be able to stream to my Intent1s but I found AudioRelay software which is okay. It is installed on my Dell laptop and my Pixel 9 Pro and sends the PC audio to my P9P which then sends it to my HA. This lets calls come in on the P9P and I donāt need to use other devices (Airpods) to stream PC audio. I understand the new Phonaks can handle two bluetooth connections simultaneously while Oticon HAs can only handle one.
I got my INTENT1 aids firmware updated today, and I asked my VA audiologist about the Easy dongle and was told hopefully by the new VA contract this coming May1.
I finally got my INTENT1 aids firmware update today. I havenāt had enough time to notice any differences.
I think it was only minor bug fixes. I havenāt seen a difference either.
My audiologist said it was mostly connectivity fixes.
I activated my newest CClip this AM, and so far, so great!
I have been using mine with out any issues
Chuck, what was it that was not working with the Samsung phone app that worked with the LE Audio option?
Thanks
Here was talking about Oticon Easy LE Adapter. I would be interested to know if it supports standard Oticon protocol for older models like Xceed, Opn, Ruby. There is a problem with connecting these models to a computer. Widex already produces a similar USB dongle for their hearing aids.
Since the update for the phone by Samsung back in November i have switched back to tje Samsung phone app. But before that time I was having issues with calls going to my aids with the Samsung phone app.
I doubt it. Itās not made by Oticon
No the Easy le audio dongle will be only for the INTENT aids and beyond.
Oops! I thought it made by Oticon. So Oticon loses out to Widex in terms of some accessories.
The Oticon ConnectClip is the interface between Oticon BLE and BT Classic for connection to a computer.
I know it. But I have Xceed, and all of Velox(S) platform hearing aids have problems with Connectclip (self lowering volume between each movie or music clip).
I never encountered that problem with my OPN S, have you updated the f/w on your CClip to 1.13.5? The older rev. 1.1 wonāt wonāt play nice with the Velox S.
Yes, I have my own Noahlink and Genie 2, so my Connectlip was always updated. But not only I has this problem - my friend too. So I sold my Connectclip.
Too bad you both had issues with the Clip.
Iāve seen a few posts recommending the Audio Relay app, perhaps thatās an option?
I know about this app, but it is unavailable in our App store
