Resound Hearing Aids & iPhone 12 Pro - Connection issues/static, only one working w/static etc

Hi all, I’m writing on behalf of my partner who just purchased an iPhone 12 pro, switching from her Samsung S7. She’s had her Resounds with mfi connected to her iPad pro using the MFI compatibility for the last year with no issue. But with the iPhone 12 pro, when she connects them, she gets a massive amount of static from both hearing aids, and then 1 would cut out (alternates between right/left cutting out), and sometimes both just die out completely. iPhone static, multiple HA brands, with a baffling symptom

As I have previously reported, I have had static over both voices on phone calls with my iPhone 11 Pro, Phonak M90s and P90s, and iOS 13.7 and 14.2. A similar problem has also been reported with Resound and Starkey HAs. For me the problem is solved, but only for several hours, by rebooting the phone. OK, a problem with the iPhone, right? BUT what utterly baffles me is that the problem is also solved by turning off my left HA! (As is the default, my right HA is the one that connects to Bluetoo…

Static from iPhone 12pro and starkey hearing aids

I just got an iPhone 12 pro with IOS 14.1. When I use email and text I am frequently getting a very loud static in my starkey hearing aids. There wasn’t a problem with the old phone. Anyone else having this issue?
