Phonak Infinio R-I90

All of the programs put into my aids (p90-r Audeo) by target are accessible by button push, and one that I created. That one tends to be the last one of those I accessed via app. You can see the status in myPhonak from that middle tab at the bottom under the “hearing aid programs” item. The ones accessible by push button have a symbol on the right.

Hope this helps,

Is this the same program the audiologist will use? In other words, can she do something similar for me when I get my hearing aids programmed (when I get them, haven’t gone in yet to trial).

Target is used by HCPs and home DIYers to configure phonak hearing aids. I think that is what you were asking.

Yes the size is definitely off putting to me. These would be my first ever hearing aid and i have no hair to cover them up! So for me its a choice between larger size ( and therefore more noticeable ) and a more discreet, but lower quality sound wise, alternative

THAT’S unusual. Autosense does not typically make a noise when switching subprograms.

Are there any YouTube or other instructions on how to change the standard programs? I was fooling around with the TV program last night, but it seems that if I change something in one of the tabs (Default, Comfort, Clarity, Speech) it makes the exact same change in all of these tabs. Is that right? My standard programs are Automatic (Autosense?), Restaurant, Music and TV. Is that all that’s available or are there others? I had TV on last night and this morning my hearing aids are still on TV mode after recharging overnight. So I guess if I switch to one of the other programs it will stay there until I put it back on automatic (or something else)?

Another question I have is if I’m in a situation where I need to adjust something, for instance, outdoors and someone from quite far away is speaking and maybe some wind noise, would I adjust the automatic program and do I have to save it to a new name for it to take effect? Any advice on best adjustments I can make for this particular type of program change if I need one like this? I realize it’s personal to my hearing, but I’m still not sure where/what adjustments would be best, if that makes any sense.

I realize this is an Infinio R-I90 group, but the conversation on the programs is of interest. I’m on day 8 trialing the Infinio Sphere hearing aids and so far I’m so impressed with the sound quality I’m 99.9% sure I’ll be keeping these.

How are you liking the Spheres now? I have the Starkey Edge AI 24, but could change out to Phonak Sphere I90 if I do it soon. I have random disconnects with Starkey. Using a Samsung S22 phone.

Well, I still have not had a real test. Spheres are back at Phonak because they seem to cause the receivers to break whenever you remove them. Appear to have ruined at least 4 or 5 receivers so far.

Wow. I’ve not heard of anything like this. Are the wires coming out of the receiver? Coming apart at the connector going into the aid body? Or they just stop working?

Here is a short thread about this. (Phonak infinio I-90R Receiver Defect)
