Stuart. Thanks very much for taking the time to reply to my issue and helpful suggestions.
I’m going to get an Edu Mic in the short term as a quick fix and then look for some large cup headphones.
Really appreciate your help.
Cheers

@HitFactor: your suggestion was spot on. I upgraded my old android device to a model with with BT 5.2 and have been streaming flawlessly to my More 1 for 24 hours now. In fact, the connection is considerably more stable than what I had with my iPhone XR on firmware 1.3.0. That may be the push I needed to turn my cloak once again lol.
I’ve been having problems using the ConnectClip with More hearing aids as well. The connection to my laptop, which worked perfectly with my Opn S hearing aids, has been very unreliable with the More hearing aids since they were updated to 1.4.0 firmware. My hearing aids and ConnectClip have been sent to Oticon for investigation and I have a new pair of demo hearing aids and a new ConnectClip. They have exactly the same problem. My hearing aids are being downgraded to 1.3.0 firmware. I hope this makes a difference, because connectivity has been terrible with these hearing aids since they were updated. I switched back to my Opn S hearing aids and they worked perfectly. Oticon has really fallen off the wagon with the More hearing aids.
Hi Daryl. Thanks so much for replying and now I know I’m not going completely insane.
I think I will ask my audiologist who has reached out to our local Oticon rep to see they can help and I will now ask if I can have my hearings aids reverted back to the 1.3 firmware in the interim until Oticon fix the 1.4 firmware issues.

Did that myself - works.
Got used More 1, one from US and one from Canada a week ago. Updated to 1.4.0 first thing (at home). The ConnectClip ver. 1.13.0 and TV Streamer 2.1.1 updated years ago. Used them with OPN 1 day to day including at work in IT Help Desk with TV Streamer. Never had any significant issues, HA and BT restart was enough to fix the glitch. The only complaint that OPN 1 with FW version lower than 6 has a better reception. Then I got the replacements with 6.1 and found that reception is not that good. Finally, More 1 ver. 1.4.0 feels even a bit more weaker in difficult situations (lots of 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi access points, microwave ovens working (same radio band), etc.). Used More 1 this week at work without any issues. Good more natural and deeper sound on the phone, Teams, Zoom, etc.
I guess, Oticon is trying to save/extend the battery life at cost of the BT receiver power when developing a new FW, perhaps, as the new version might be a bit more power hungry.
BTW, have no issues with iPhone 8 and iPad A2270 both was updated to 16.1. Decent sound when listening to lossless studio records even there is less than 5% left in the batteries (took them from a charger 17 hours ago).
Cheers,
Serge
I have used the Control Panel and Settings Accessibility and they both show hearing aids bluetooth connected when they are not connected. Really disappointing. Have not gone back to get my loaners yet. Just decided I can live with for a while longer.
My More1 aids aren’t updated to 1.4.0 and I will not get them updated until the issues are resolved
It might be just the host device’s issue. Did you try to remove pairing, restart the devices, and pair them back?
How many devices you HAs paired to? Are they all on and trying to get control over the HAs? I had a similar issue a while ago, when the iPhone and iPad were fighting for control over the HAs and as the volume settings were different on them, I was hearing how HAs were frantically adjusting the volume level back and forth causing a beeping mess. Try to disable handover handoff feature on all the Apple devices HAs connected to, and then use this feature only on your primary/choosen device. You can always change the settings in the Settings > Accessbility > Hearing devices > Auto Handoff.

@andrewtbeer: Welcome to the Forum, Andrew. I’m a 73-year-old veteran who uses Oticon More1s, Connect Clip, SmartCharger, and EduMic.
The EduMic is a really versatile device. It has permitted me to watch TV with my wife, pleasurably, and it’s excellent for meetings and dining out with friends. The hardwired capability is a big plus! I’ve never run out of juice with it, and I’ve experienced no charging issues.
I realize that I’m not addressing your specific issues, however, I thought that posting my kudos for EduMic would perhaps increase your confidence that the EduMic will have value for you, even if it doesn’t exactly fit your Zooming requirements. Sorry if I’m off topic.
Serge, thanks for your reply but all of your suggestions and more, no pun intended, have been tried. It is 1.4.0 period. No other devices fighting for my hearing aids. The only good thing is after I get any pairing is I can still use my Oticon TV streamer. Even doing that I can lose either right or left or both hearing aid pairing at any time with no rhyme or reason. Within weeks iOS 16.2 will be released and then we wait for Oticon 1.4.1.
Thanks so much for the welcome and the advice on the edu mic.
I’ve ordered one as I think it’s the best way forward for me in the interim and your comments are helpful and support my thoughts so thanks again!
Cheers

I faced with interference problem with iPad (A2602) even the IPad is not paired with More 1. When the iPad was switched off, the HA behave normally. I switched off the IPad which I rarely used.
Hey Dankailo,
Did you check on Settings > Accessibility > Hearing devices > Control Nearby Devices? If it is ON on your iPad, it can “Control hearing device settings on nearby devices” and may interfere with settings.
Hi Serge,
I just switched it off now. Every time I walk near the IPad, the HA goes crazy. on and off.
Thanks a lot. Stay safe and healthy.
IOS 16.1 w/ 1.4.0 seems more stable lately. Weird.
New iOS update to the update today. Here goes absolutely nothing
I guess we will see what bugs have been fixed and what bugs this causes
Dear John,
I am Alessandra and I will take over your conversation with Kristian as he is not available at the moment. We have had some similar reports from other users on firmware 1.4.0.
We have identified the root cause of these streaming dropouts / disconnections and have a fix under way – we are working on finalizing a new firmware update, and we will let you know as soon as it is available.
At the moment, if you loose connection or streaming to one or both hearing aids, the way to get it back is to restart the affected hearing aid. You can restart your hearing aid by holding the the ‘down’ button on your hearing aid for 3 seconds, wait for it to turn off, and then hold the same button again for 3 seconds to turn it on again.
The disconnections can reoccur if your hearing aids and phone are out of Bluetooth range and come back into range again. If it does, you will need to restart the hearing aid again to reestablish the connection and streaming.
Thank you for your patience, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Alessandra
Yep I was told that by the VA Oticon rep almost a month ago. I still have 1.3.0 with my More1 aids. And will not update until the fix is available
