Maybe they think that making changes that ‘stick’ is the purview of the audiologist.
But you are a non-conformist.
Everyone knows monkeys do not wear green hard hats.
Something I found with the Oticon Companion App, it’s so so slow to connect.
Way slower then it is, with the Phonak App.
Oticon is aware of this issue.
I gave the Companion App a 1 * review on Google Play Store, and described in detail the issue with the App not running in the background, and having to start it each time.
Their App support team is working on this issue, and they say they are making “other” improvements.
You may wish to try the ON App. The ON App stays “ON” and is always available.
Hard to believe anything could be slower than MyPhonak!
The On has stopped connecting to my Xceeds so I’ve given up with the On. I have two pairs of Xceeds and both are not connecting anymore but were before hand.
I hadn’t realised it had to run in the background.
I still learn even tho I understand technology quite easily.
Hi @zebra, do you program the Xceed yourself or take to the audi to program. You are using an acrylic made mould for your xceed?
My free pair were set up by an audiologist but I bought a second pair and now program both pairs.
I use silicone ear moulds.
Noted with Thanks. Have a nice weekend.
No bugs, just Zebras & Orangutans!
Yes, if it loses focus it closes, just like MyPhonak, whereas the ON App stays active in the background so can be instantly accessed.
I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. Do you use an iPhone or android?
I know several iPhone members have uninstalled the ON app.
It’s quite stable on my Pixel phone.
???
No bugs when two members get notified when another member clicks reply to one member??
