I have been using my Jabra Enhanced Pro 20 hearing aids for a few weeks. I notice in the app that the battery capacity on the left side decreases about one dot faster than the right one. Both have always supplied adequate power for 14 hours of use. I haven’t been streaming music or listening to podcasts. Is this normal?
More than likely it is your worst ear, the other reason could be that Bluetooth wise it is the aid that controls the Bluetooth connection
Good guess, but both ears have nearly identical hearing loss in the high frequencies.
Thanks for your reply.
The power consumption that goes with the communications between HAs is asymmetrical.
Then more than likely the aids are set to have the left aid as the master as for as connectivity is concerned. There could be but not likely an issue with the charger or battery causing the issues.
My Oticon aids has always seen the right aid battery draining a little quicker that the left. And my hearing is close to the same too, but there is enough noticeable differences. I have to have my right aid set with more power so I have to feeling of balanced sound for speech and music.
Thanks for the info.
