What hardware to split computer to BT and speaker?

Been using BT fine with Phonak Spheres.
But need to feed computer speaker, as I edit, for client to hear too.
Is there a low latency piece of hardware, that I can connect as a speaker, is recognized as a speaker, and will simultaneously transmit BT compatible with HAs?
Or is there a topic on this already?

I would use a Phonak tv connector and computer speakers or a sound bar connected with an audio cable splitter
This will also save battery on the HA’s .

I’d go with 2’s suggestion and avoid blutooth. BT incurs delay and you will get out of sync with your speaker. The TV connector probably has a tiny delay but likely you can work with that. If you have a roger device, it’s the same type tech as the TV connector from what I hear, so that should also work if you stick it in a line out socket.

That’s right I use a Roger Select and am on video calls all day for work. Colleagues can hear me through the mics on my webcam. Hearing aids are treated as headphones on the computer settings.

But the Roger device does not have a way to connect a Speaker :frowning:(

The BASE has audio in. So, perhaps a Y connector to that, and the speaker, might work. Gonna try it. Thank you all.

but if you had someone next to you… needing to hear directly from the computer speaker, then that would not work… right?

ChatCPT suggests that there are a couple of ways that you might use the the audio out jack and the laptop speakers at the same time. It suggested free software Voicemeeter for Windows. There are other suggestions for IOS. It also suggested a way of doing it without additional software. You might want to search for a solution.

Appreciate your efforts Raylock1, and thank you.
I find that ChatGPT is often wrong :innocent:

Just looking at Voicemeeter. VERY COOL!
I actually have a few panels, that probably can control it, like the LoupDeck+ and the XK boards.

Adobe Premiere Pro - program I am using, specifies ONE audio output. So I need to feed something that is then split. I need to use BT to feed my aids on one side of that splitter, and the other to feed a speaker for the client or assistant editor to hear as well. Normally I have had excellent results by editing via the BlueTooth, and then on the occasion of needing to collaborate, I would use the speaker, placed on each side of the keyboard. But somehow, I prefer the better clarity of BT - so at least I would like to experiment with options. The Roger or TV Adapter seem like possibilities. Was hoping for Auracast to be active…

I posted, in case someone knew of a box that broadcast classic BT or Phonak compatible BT, while ALSO outputting simultaneous LINE audio via jack to speaker. Thought this was discussed in one thread… but its a blur.

Wanted to write about Voicemeeter too, but @raylock1 was first  Definitely worth a try!

You can even adjust delays to match signals from speakers and Bluetooth!

Is external hardware needed?
How does this software get around the OS routing of audio to a single output, IE BT, or specific Line Out ? If you know ?

IIRC, it creates virtual output. I don’t use that software recently, so I may forget about something.

If you’re on a Mac, you might be able to configure an “aggregate” output that combines the outputs of 2 separate audio interfaces. (I’ve made aggregate inputs for my music work, and it works quite well.)
