I just checked the Discount Daily Hearing site and it looks like they cover lifetime adjustments, etc. That seems incredible to me. I’ve heard of 3 years but lifetime would be awesome. Maybe they count on a lot of people who can afford it will move on to newer technology down the road and so that’s x number of buyers to provide adjustments for.
Have you purchased from Discount Daily or just reporting the price? Promises made - the value of which is only determined in the passage of time.
Yes I did purchase from them and and have been 100% satisfied. Very responsive to adjustments I request and I believe they will continue to be.
Thanks to all here who have replied and the information you provided! I have moved from my $8,000 Lumity 90 to a new audiologist with TruHearing (thanks for the suggestion!) and saved thousands. I liked my other audiologist, but I choked on the cost. My new audio has fitted me with Oticon Real 1s. Some tweaking yet to do. I think they will be great, and I like the battery option so I opted for that, which the Phonak did not have. Time and adjustments will tell. But I think I’m on the right track and saved about $3,600 in the proces… which I could not have done without all the insights provided here.

That’s a goodly amount of money/savings. Proof it PAYS TO SHOP AROUND. Good for you - hope they work out great for you.
There used to be laws against price gouging and I bet they are still on the books but laws are only as good as the people whose job it is to enforce them. $8,000 for Lumity sounds beyond all reason. Maybe if enough people like you find more reasonable resources the leaches charges unconscionable prices will either mend their ways or go away.
