Retired and struggling since relocating back to Kansas. That was after selling my home of 27 years in Missouri. I was hoping to build my second Sanctuary Garden but 3 years here has made me realize what I actually bought is my own personal version of the movie ‘The Money Pit’ with a little disfunctional ‘Green Acres’ mixed in. I work 10 to 12 hours a day to make order out of chaos with dismal results. No random gunfire here is nice but I’ve come to regret moving here because there’s no time to do anything fun or have a social life. At first I thought my daily life on the treadmill would payoff but now I’m afraid it’s not in the cards.
