Can any speculate about the inability to make in app adjustments for TV Connector & BT Streaming programs?
I would be more interested in adjusting TV Connector on the fly.
TBH TV Connector ( I believe I have vers 1 - firmware is the latest) sounded very tinny when I used Marvel 70s, Lumity 90s and now Infinio Sphere 90s.
Yes, tweeks can be made in the fitting software - been there done that.
I wonder if newer generation of TV Connector have improved.
There is Phonak TV Connector version 2 and that’s been out for while. No issues with it. l don’t know if you can upgrade to version 2 with firmware.
I have three version 2 Phonak TV connectors. I don’t think that the version 2 has been updated in the past four or five years.
There are no settings that can be adjusted in the Phonak app while streaming. You can only adjust volume level, and ambient balance between the HAs microphones and the stream (one goes up and the other goes down).
There are two streaming programs, one for music and the other for speech. The HAs automatically switch between these, depending on the content of the stream ( music vs. speech). Your audiologist can adjust both sets of curves. I found this necessary when I got my I90s because music would overwhelm speech when I was watching a movie that had both.
