In December 2018 I suffered a sudden sensorineural hearing loss. I visited Northwestern Memorial Hospital Department of Otolaryngology. I received two treatments of intratympanic steroid injection, hearing not restored. Purchased Phonak Marvel 70s in November 2019, now wearing Lumity 90s. I suffered another sudden sensorineural hearing loss in July 2024. Two more rounds of intratympanic steroid injection and was told by Northwestern Memorial I am borderline for cochlear implant.
