So I have the phonak lumity plus the cros receiver. I’m finding that the battery life is not the best but will make it through a working day. My issue is preserving battery life in those longer days when I cannot charge it so I have started to turn off the cros when it’s not needed.
Currently I have to hold the button on the hearing aid to turn it off. Is there an easier way to do this? I was hoping that the app would have that feature but cannot see an option for it. Or would it be possible to reprogram the on device button to power off using a single press?
Thought I’d try here before asking my audiologist.
As @brec so succinctly noted: “NO”.
2 ways to turn off a rechargeable HA:
Put them in the charger, or long press volume down button.
Maybe you should investigate the travel charger, so you can do a quick charge during a break, or any time convenient.
With my aids one can turn off by long press, but another one won’t. Do the aids actually turn off when put in charger (if not connected to the power pack)?
