I 've had the Starkey Livio 2400 with rechargeable batteries for 1 1/2 years. I’ve already had to replace the battery for both the right and left hearing aid and now will have to replace the right one again. Each time I’m without the aids for at least a week. What’s wrong with the hearing aids?
Just sounds like typical rechargeable battery problems, it’s not just Starkey.
If it makes you feel any better it is a rechargeable problem. It the same thing that happens with cell phone batteries. They age due to use and it amplified by the fact they are rarely allowed to go completely dead. I had my battery in each replaced 2 in three years.
One of the many reasons I will never get rechargeable hearing aids.
@Zebras: FWIW, Zebes, had I known then what I know now, I would never have taken delivery of rechargeable More1s. I should have waited for More2s in the disposable battery format.
