I have the Amplifon Energy hearing aids which I believe are Resound
I am looking to download the Smart Fit software if someone could share the link with me please?
Welcome to the forum, you’d need Amplifon version of Connexx software as the Energy looks like the Signia AX, you’ll also need the Noahlink Wireless programming device for your DIY projects.
On my phone I’m using the Smart 3D add as it gives more control than the Amplifon app, what I was wanting was the PC fitting software.
From everything I’ve researched I would have thought the Amplifon range was all Resound although I’ve only been at this a couple of weeks so may very well be wrong…
Really, Amplifon Energy 5 AX does look as a Signia AX on the Amplifon website? They do sell a few different brands, some are locked as we’ll, @david.hendon i believe has the information on these ReSound versions.
But yes I’m aware you are wanting the the software, I’ll send smartfit if that’s what you want/need.
The Amplifon version of the Resound One (which I believe they called ON) did use a different casing to the genuine Resound One. It was more like the Quattro casing. Anyway unfortunately I don’t know who manufactured the Amplifon Energy R 5 AX.
In any case if it is branded Amplifon then SmartFit won’t detect it, even if it is a Resound-manufactured aid, because Amplifon use their own version of SmartFit and so far as I know, it’s not available for DIY.
The best guide as to whether the aid is made by Resound or not is probably the manufacturer’s label on the aid. But also the Resound Smart 3D IOS app should I think work ok with the Amplifon-branded Resound aids.
