Receiver power vs program settings

I’m set up to use S power receivers with my Phonak M90-13T aids.

This is just a curiosity and understanding question, not something I want or need to do. I’m not trying it… just a random thought

What would happen if I installed stronger receivers without adjusting anything in the program? Say step up to M or even P receivers?

The reason this even came to mind is that I’m in a loaner pair of aids that have M power receivers installed and so I started wondering if the Audi even did anything to compensate for that in the program for these loaners…
(the program certainly doesn’t seem to be even close to what’s in my Marvels. In terms of ambient balance settings, streaming volume settings, etc… I trust the audiogram settings are for me, it just doesn’t seem like anything else is tweaked to my liking)

I first fit a Phonak Audeo L90-R to a sloping loss with an S receiver, saved, and exited the software. Then I ran the carrot passage at 65 dB in my test box. That is the pink line. I then switched to an M receiver (one step stronger) without doing any reconnecting to software, and ran the carrot passage again. That is the green line. What this suggests to me is that, all other things equal and/or unchanged, a stronger receiver will put out more volume.
