Receiver power vs program settings

I’m set up to use S power receivers with my Phonak M90-13T aids. This is just a curiosity and understanding question, not something I want or need to do. I’m not trying it… just a random thought What would happen if I installed stronger receivers without adjusting anything in the program? Say step up to M or even P receivers? The reason this even came to mind is that I’m in a loaner pair of aids that have M power receivers installed and so I started wondering if the Audi even did anything t…
