Hello all,
Two days ago I’ve connected my hearing aids to connexx app and did an upgrade to the new firmware which enabled Bluetooth LE and some other bug fixing etc (as far as I understood)
And now I can not connect my both hearing aids to the StreamLilne MIC, only one at a time.
After this firmware upgrade, I also had audio/hands free sound issues but I did managed to fix it by re-configuring the equalizer from connexx app (stupid new firmware broke my settings)
Anyone here can advice how do I fix my StreamLine MIC connectivity?
Thanks
Hi there, yeah this is always a PITA when things like this happen after updating, I can’t imagine what it’s doing to the Mic, but I guess a reset wouldn’t hurt, as remove from phone and repair and then try, got LE Audio turned off in bluetooth settings? The mic doesn’t use LE Audio
Oh I thought you were using the phone for streaming to streamline for your HAs, can you plug the streamline into Connexx to see, I can’t remember if it’s possible.
This is reminiscent of a problem discussed in a previous thread, Signia Charge &Go AX Nx 7 with Streamline Mic Bluetooth. In this thread, it came to light that the only way to clear the blue tooth pairing from the HA’s was with the Connexx software. And when that was done and the Mic re-paired, the situation was resolved. It could be the same for the IX’s as well.
Edit: Ha! I see you’re familiar with that thread, Liviu, so you’ve probably tried removing the pairing using the software. Oh well, maybe the post will benefit someone else. I am disturbed by your post, though, as I was thinking about updating my firmware to take advantage of some of the new changes, but, now, I’m a bit reluctant.
I had the same problem of hearing only in one aid with the streamline mic, the solution is to format the streamline is not the same as reset.
I did that and worked fine again
Well i didn’t use the connexx software to format it btw, so xd i guess. But is a glitch my audi figured out because other patients reported the same thing with signia has and streamline mic.
Sometimes the other solution was using another streamline mic to do a new connection to clear previous ones and that is it stays conected to both has.
One other thing, does the streamline have one of those tiny pin hole reset buttons anywhere I wonder, I’d need to dig out my old one and have a look, long time since I used it.
To clear the pairings from the StreamLine Mic, power it off and then hold all three buttons down for 10 seconds, but that will not remove the pairing to the Hearing Aids. See the StreamLine Mic manual page 20. To remove the pairing to the HA’s one must use Connexx. Apparently, there is a setting in the software to do so.
