Ya I too have read that long time ago. And again recently.
But this seems to refer to an APP. A smartphone APP, that would allow lay users, to adjust their various HAs, not through a dedicated, computer program for a particular brand by professionals, but more of a generic approach. OR it could be packaged in a host of flavors, I guess, by the various brands. Just wondering if anything has become of it, anything more advanced, any influence in the tech world of hearing, or was it just buried by competition, or otherwise abandoned?
Has this app ever been implemented?

I doubt such an app would be legal in many countries. It took years for OTC regulations to be developed that do not give the user much control.
