I presume that’s the trouble. The TV Connector is only designed for TV sets, which are normally turned on when watching and off when not.
But laptops are not used that way. We do lots of things on laptops, not just listening to one long program or movie and then turning it off, and the Phonak TV Connector and/or the myPhonak app, is apparently not designed for that and should not be suggested as useful for that. In fact, many people now use their TVs for surfing the internet, which apparently did not occur to the myPhonak app writers or the TV Connector designers, Unfortunately.
