Phonak streaming turns off

My Phonak AUDEO hearing aids streaming turns off when I pull a shirt over my head

How far away is the audio source? I could see this happening if the signal was already very weak, but that shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re connected to something several feet away or there’s an obstruction like a wall.

It’s probably Tap control. Simply do double tap again after pulling your shirt.

I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with tap control?

My iPhone is in my pocket or less than a foot away.

In the phone app your HAs can be set to do certain things when you tap on them. On the bottom menu, look under Devices<Tap Control. This is where you can set up to answer or disconnect calls (which can also disconnect your streaming) by tapping your HA.It sounds like you’re set to “Pause/ resume streaming” thus, another double tap after you get your shirt on should start it up again. Or just try not to bump the HA while you get dressed.

Thanks so much. I initially went to my phone app with no results, then went to my hearing aids app and believe I’ve now GOT IT! I could have set controls to firm touch but instead opted to turn the whole thing off. I am ever so very greatful for you assistance.

It was a tap issue, so I went to my Phonak app and easily changed the settings to off. Thanks so much.

Your advice was so helpful! Thank you.

I went into my Phonak app and made the changes under touch control…I turned it off for now.

I turned tap off. I found it annoying.
