If you haven’t already Sara, try NAL NL2 fitting formula, via the Naida Lumity’s, it takes a bit of getting used too… It took me approximately a month to acclimatise, after which, I will choose no other, well apart from NAL NL3, which is imminently about to be released… Good luck, cheers Kev
- Did you have REM?
- When did you start wearing hearing aids and how many hours a day?
There is time needed for new sounds. After my last minor adjustmentsI had to get used to for 2-3 weeks. It’s normal quite as rehabilitation a muscle that has not been used for a long time.
I never tried the Lumity as my hearing declined.
I went from Naida P30 and P70 UP to Oticon Xceed.
Oticon gives me more gain using the same fitting formula as Phonak. Phonak gives me less gain. Not sure why.
Oticon Xceed is the most powerful HA’s in the world! This what Oticon claim.
I understand that Oticon Xceed claim to be the most powerful Aid but this is what I found when playing with the software.
If I put a flat 70dB audiogram on both Oticon and Phonak software and used NAL 2 on both softwares, Oticon still have me more gain over Phonak.
It makes no sense to me why Oticon gives more gain no matter what the audiogram is.
With the same earmold?
