Oticon launches Oticon Xceed power hearing aids

that sounds nice!!! (earwax is a problem which causes feedback so that’s nice to have)

Folks I am looking to try Oticon Xceed hearing aids. I believe they are right for me as they support profound hearing loss like mine and comes with Bluetooth connectivity with iPhone also.

Does anyone here have Oticon Xceed hearing aids who can tell us how they’re performing?

I have the Xceeds and for me they work great for speech comprehension…I’m using the VAC+ algorithm that really helps with the soft cues. OPN S platform also offers a noise removal when speech is present even between the words - that is a nice feature but you need some time to get used to it.

Good day, I would like to inform you about my hearing aids. I have used three models: Oticon Sumo DM, Oticon Chili SP7, and currently, Oticon Xceed SP1. Out of these, the Oticon Chili SP7 was the one I liked the most, and I used it happily from 2012 to 2024. Now, I have switched to the Oticon Xceed SP1, and I have to say that I am not really satisfied with the sound quality. The sound is not clear, and it lacks the balance that the Oticon Chili SP7 had. The only thing I like about the Oticon Xceed SP1 is the Bluetooth connection with my iPhone. I don’t notice any improvement in the BrainHearing functionality. With the Oticon Chili SP7, I could feel the Speech Guard E providing clear and balanced sound. Do you have any suggestions for settings for the Xceed SP1 or a way to compare it with the Chili SP7?
Audiologist can’t do more than that.
