Hello. I am a new user of Intent 2 hearing aids. Sorry, I am writing through a translator. Thank you for this forum, where you can find many answers. I have bilateral Meniere’s disease with severe hearing loss. For two weeks, I have been reading the forum from time to time, trying to decide which operating system: iOS - Android, to buy a phone for my Intent. But a few days ago, my left hearing aid started to discharge twice as fast as the right one. Has anyone had this problem? And how did you solve it? I bought them in September. In Ukraine, they do not provide them for a trial period. I started using hearing aids intensively at the end of December, because before that I had dizziness from the devices due to my illness. From December to this time, with a 100% charge in the morning, I ended my day after 11 p.m. With 42% charge on both devices. The difference between the right and left has always been 2-3%, now for several days the left one turns off after 19 p.m. without turning on broadcasts and phone calls. Yesterday I was at my audiologist and he didn’t know what to do about it. When he connected the devices to the program, the monitor showed that the battery was normal, but the difference between the right and left was also quite large. He advised me to observe for another two weeks, maybe it will get better on its own, he has not had such cases with Intent. The audiologist is the official representative of Oticon and has been installing them since 1991. I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a battery problem get better without some change. New firmware in the device, change in the phone config, something. More likely, this is a faulty battery. Just my opinion.

I have been wearing Oticon INTENT1 aids for almost a year and my battery life is great. I can get well over 20 hours of battery life per day even with streaming 3 to 4 hours each day. My aids battery are actually the same level throughout the day.
What acoustic coupling you have? Earmolds? Domes? Do you hear any screeching or whistling from left HA? Maybe your left hearing aid is in constant feedback or sub-feedback level which may increase energy consumption.
EDIT:
Inspect your domes or earmolds for any cracks, damage, or excessive cerumen.
It would also be helpful to insert your tonal audiogram results attaching them to your forum profile.
I would say faulty battery, had a similar problem with my Costco KS10’s. The right side was discharging at almost twice the rate of the left side. Then later stopped taking a charge altogether.
Thanks for the answers. I also think the problem is with the battery. In the morning, when both devices are fully charged, the left one shows a much shorter predicted operating time than the right one. There were no changes with the hearing aids and iPhoneX. The audiogram is from September, but I think it has worsened at the moment. Everything is fine with the sulfur filters and Double Vent Bass 10 earplugs, the audiologist checked. The audiologist sees no point in individual earplugs. There is no feedback, I don’t feel any whistling or screeching, only the tinnitus is sometimes too loud.
I think, then, the only possibility is to send the faulty one to Oticon’s warranty service. It usually takes about 2 weeks, at least in my region.
Regarding your hearing loss, I encourage you to consider earmolds with appropriate venting, depending on your sensitivity to occlusion, which is probably low, seeing your low-frequency thresholds.
Earmolds usually provide even better sound quality and better outcomes in patients with similar audiograms to yours. I wonder what your audiologist’s justification is for “no point in individual earplugs”.
