Oticon Engage Stethoscope that works with iphone - reviews

One of the things I did when i got my first pair of hearing aids since the stethoscopes were not bluetooth and you needed the tubes, was ti get an additional program that I could toggle to on the aid itself. This was just basically a mute program i could access real quick as I did not know if there would be any feedback or interference between the two electronics. Turns out it was never needed and still use the tubes instead of having to open an app on scene.

So the the stethoscope connects to the phone using bluetooth? And the phone is connected to the hearing aids using MFI?

@Jess1

I am a paramedic and life-long HA user.
Currently my setup of the EKO core, that is paired with my iPhone, works perfectly, auscultates lung and heart sounds GREAT, and everyone in the field thinks it looks badass to take out a scope that is completely wire-free and get good sounds.
Aids: Signia pure charge&go
iPhone: 15
I don’t need any wifi, or even any cell signal. The aids are bluetoothed, and the Eko is also paired to the phone and uses the “hear through phone” option (which I guess is a second bluetooth). Then I hear directly through my aids.
This is an immense improvement over my previous big headphones attached to an amplified scope with way too many cords.

Would also just love to chat about being a medic with hearing loss if you’re up for that!

Sorry Don don’t know how I missed this. They work like Ari states in his post except I use Android. The only thing I have found is that I have to open the app when going to use. I am lucky though as I can use just like a traditional stethoscope with my aids though amplified.

Do you have latency during auscultation via Bluettoth?

I have used my CORE very limited as I mostly use the 3100 still. When I did use it I did not detect any appreciative amount of latency, but will probably use it more in the future.

I has 3200, but after 5-7 years its buttons tear apart. I also didn’t notice any latency. I curious about CORE latency and I read about Stemoscope PRO also.

I have not noticed any latency, and we work pretty quickly, so I think I would if it was present; or if it was, it did not impact my emergency care work.
