Observation: Phonak and Samsung Phones bluetooth connection

Just sharing some experiences

I’ve had Phonak Marvel 70 and now Lumity 90, Samsung S9+ and S23 Ultra.

This happened yesterday morning while at the gym and it’s not the first time. I always stream music while working out. As normal I punched up Spotify and set the Ambient Balance to full audio, blocking out background noise. I was getting a lot of background noise, not able to clearly hear the music. Reboot the phone. I’m not sure if Settings ==> Apps ==> My Phonak ==> Storage ==> Clear Cache would have accomplished the same thing, but a reboot solved the issue.

There have been times when the hearing aids did not automatically connect to the phone when they were removed from the charger. Reboot.

In general I find the bluetooth connection between the Phonak HAs and Samsung phone to be quite good, it’s not 100%

Phonak app and my phone are always updated with the latest and greatest. Glitches will happen, we have to learn to live with them.
