New to hearing aids - crackling sound during speech

Hi all
I was recently fitted with Resound Nexia hearing aids on both ears due to mild-moderate cookie bite hearing loss. I’ve never worn hearing aids before.

In some situations I notice both hearing aids making a crackling sound during speech - almost like you’re blowing into a microphone. During my fitting I only noticed it when I spoke myself - the audiologist sounded fine, so the audiologist said it was probably my hair touching the microphones when I moved my jaw during speech(I have long hair).
But as I wore the aids to work yesterday the same thing happened when a co-worker came over to my desk to ask me a question(both aids crackled when my co-worker was talking), and then again the same thing last night when I was watching tv(I was sitting 2-3 meters from the tv). I wasn’t moving or talking so the crackling couldn’t have been from my hair moving against the microphone.

Adjusting the volume down a bit reduces the crackling sound.

Is this something I have to get used to with hearing aids?

I have been wearing Jabra Enhanced Pro 20 hearing aids, which are similar to the ReSound hearing aids but rebranded for Costco, for nearly two months. I also, get the crackling sound in my hearing aids when touching my ears or putting on a jacket. I don’t have long hair as the poster mentioned. Will I eventually become accustomed to that sound? And will I not notice the crackling after awhile?

I’ve been in contact with the audiologist’s office who replied that I might have to put up with the crackling because my hearing loss is only mild-moderate(I have cookie bite hearing loss so I struggle in the mid-frequencies and have normal hearing otherwise).
I thought the whole point of hearing aids was that you could adjust different frequensies based on what your needs are…?
