Wow. Anybody know what the 4th dimension is?
some say it is time What time has to do with hearing aids I don’t know!
Intent:
Auracast ready
20 hours of battery life
New spearker/receiver
4D sensor technology (whatever that means)
Deep Neural Network (DNN) version 2.0
Remodelled Genie
Here are: product brochure, consumer brochure, and technical datasheet.
20h battery?
too low
INTENT: charging contacts , no battery cover, non replaceable battery!
pictures from 2nd video above
new speaker unit (new receiver type)
Do they say anywhere what technology the new receiver uses?
WH
the product brochure states:
Intelligent miniFit Detect
– The world’s first self-calibrating speaker gives up to 57% more precise gain.
but nothing about xmem’s
You knew where I was going…
WH
Maybe it is xMEMS? I hope it
I think it is top-down, side to side, front-back (3D) plus speech as 4th coordinate
I believe they would say something, that would be great news.
xmems will be ready later this year or maybe in 2025
Don’t you love it!!!
In one of the videos, they mention that the hearing aid is smaller thanks to the smaller battery (I think size 13).
Oticon More and Real have a replaceable 312 size battery, and the new Intent have a bigger 13 size battery. This makes the Intent hearing aids thicker but also provide longer runtimes.
to me from the pictures, Intend looks bigger than Real but it’s just me
The Oticon Real/More Z22a is a fraction thicker than a 312. So they might have a slightly chonkier battery again.
The runtime doesn’t look that special: especially next to the Genesis.
The accelerometer - Steerability doofer looks quite handy, but I’m not a huge fan of shifting directional patterns as user awareness//aggravation can happen. It’s like steering headlights on your car : sometimes cool, sometimes distracting.
Has anyone mentioned if the BLE allows full comms between paired/multiple users?
The new intent speaker is more stunning than a real game-changing revelation…
I could not find any details about BLE, and if this feature is implemented.
Is this Oticon’s new speaker a challenger to Phonak’s “ActiveVent”?
