Updatedā€¦looks like I have to go to ā€œAdvanced Settingsā€ now to adjust programs Iā€™ve saved. First reaction. I donā€™t like that.

Very disappointed with Phonak.I have phonak cros p which is still not compatible with the app.

Why is Phonak wasting all their research on developing exercise programs on their App which has nothing to do with hearing loss and not developing their App to be compatible with their Cros P aid which has everything to do with heating loss.

Excellent update. Took the health advertisement widgets off the main screen, increased the volume controls, almost like the old app version. Much better!

I used the App yesterday, today got the update. I am not sure I would have noticed the update  However while the left aid connected the right didnā€™t. I switched off, switched on and it repaired.

lol. This happens to me all the time when Iā€™m doing the dishes and listening to podcasts

I wonder how an audiologist connects to a clientā€™s hearing aids via myphonak? Does the target software a way to do this? Does this require a verification?

Good question. Not had an OTA consultation yet and remained to be convinced.

Iā€™ve had several successful remote sessionā€™s with my audiologist using the app. I havenā€™t done it in the past few days, so I canā€™t speak on the recent update.

You connect via the app via the support buttonā€¦ when your audiologist logs in. It becomes like a video conference call. In the background, the audiologist makes the adjustments via their target program. It then connects & syncs to your hearing aids.

You get the usual tones when everything is done.

My old tablet has minimal RAM memory so the audio tends to stutter. Everything else works fine. Using my newer phone with much more RAM memory, everything works great.

Thanks. May I ask you if one can use bluetooth connection during remote adjustment so that s/he can hear the audiologist

To a certain extent, but my HAs completely rebooted when she was finished sending the changes. It took a little while to boot and then I had to reconnect with the phone, since the bt connection had dropped.

Sorry, my paradise hearing aids are indeed connected via Bluetooth to the app.

My phone is connected to my home Wi-Fi network

Thanks for the info. I canā€™t handle a remote setting without bluetooth help. I am very weak with normal phone speaker use

I have had a Phonak Cros P aid for about 9 Months and it is still not compatable with the Phonak App.

I am disappointed with Phonak as they have wasted their resources on developing Their App to measure pulse rates and steps which can be measured by a Fit Bit more efficiently and for a fraction of the price of hearing aids.

Does anyone know when Phonak will make their Cros Aids compatible with the App which have everything to do with a hearing loss instead of wasting their time and money on things which have nothing to do with hearing loss.

On the Phonak FB Page, someone posted that she works for Phonak and she hasnā€™t been told about the App yet for CROS P and she normally gets told a year in advance.

Donā€™t know how true that is tho.

Version 6.2.1 of the myPhonak app has been released:

  • General bugfixes and performance improvements

Since updating to iOS 16.0 Iā€™ve had numerous small issues such as Auto-On switching off following the iOS 16 update, along with general flakyness.

I still have the Auto-On slider button switching off after I turn it on and close the window. However after updating MyPhonak to 6.2.1 it initially started working again, but has switched itself off again just now.

I contacted MyPhonak help via the App and Phonak followed up the following morning with a phone number to call their BlueTooth Technical Support Team which I did.

The tech had me reset bluetooth, reboot the aids and nothing has changed.

ā€¦YES I have deleted the App, restarted the iPhone 13 Pro, forgot the Aids, reinstalled everything, etc., etc. without the Auto_on staying on after selection.

Granted - this is not a serious problem, but hopefully the next iOS update will fix whatever is causing issues to what I feel is a very good App ā€œNormallyā€
