Interesting… quoting from buyer feedback: “Due to the lack of a unified standard for LC3 encoding and decoding worldwide, compatibility may occur when products with different schemes are paired, resulting in the inability to use LC3 encoding and decoding. Our product uses the Qualcomm scheme, so if the paired product also uses the Qualcomm scheme, it can be paired and used with LC3 encoding and decoding.”
I am tempted to buy one to pair my Phonak P90’s to all my incompatible devices. But I believe that it was somewhere on this forum that I read & clipped: “There are several implementations of the LC3 Auracast protocol which are not compatible with each other! The most popular ones are the ‘mtk’ scheme and the ‘Qualcomm’ scheme. This Eppfun audio transmitter-Receiver uses the LC3 mtk codec, so your other unit must use the same LC3 mtk codec to work. Eppfun provides fantastic support for this product, highly recommended.” Here, @TimMac presents the same dongle.
