Thank you all for your insight and comments. I checked the Sony Xperia 1 VI and it does not appear to be offered in the US. I’ll wait a few more weeks for the Pixel 9 and Android 15 releases and see what Google is offering as well as other manufacturers. It’s a shame Apple and Samsung (and others) are not fully using LE Audio but I don’t know enough about the technology and engineering to appreciate the degree of difficulty.
Samsung is using le audio but there is a bug that needs fixed. I am hoping that the release OneUI 6.1.1 the first of August as it supposed to fix the issue.

When I did a search on Google, it didn’t seem to work for simultaneous connections to multiple devices. Have you got it to work?
There is LE audio and there is Auracast. Can your Samsung broadcast to multiple devices simultaneously?
Yes it can. I do it sometimes to my wife’s Bluetooth speaker. Now if Samsung will fix the bug they added to the OneUI update back in April I will be even happier.
Auracast is a feature of Bluetooth LE Audio. It is not a separate specification. There can be issues with an implementation, but if you have LE Audio, you have Auracast. Auracast is the name given to the broadcast feature built into LE Audio.
OK, but your phone still needs the software to select the Auracast stream you want to hear, right?
Yes and the Androids that have LE Audio have a switch to “Listen to Auracast Broadcast”.

I’ve recently upgraded my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S24 (Exynos) to take advantage of the Bluetooth LE Audio feature with my Resound Nexia hearing aids. However, I’m running into a strange issue.
When I pair my hearing aids to the S24 and turn on the LE Audio feature, the sound quality when streaming music is terrible—it’s almost like the song is playing in slow motion or is severely distorted. On the other hand, if I leave LE Audio off, the sound quality is fine, just like it was on my old Pixel 4a.
What’s even more puzzling is that I tried streaming music with my partner’s Galaxy S23, also with LE Audio enabled, and the sound quality was great!
Is this a known issue specific to the S24 (Exynos)? Could it be something that will be fixed in a future software update? I’d really appreciate any insights or suggestions on what I should do to resolve this.

My Samsung S23 phone, the September update fixed all pf my connectivity issues I had with my Oticon INTENT1 aids. Hands free is working, and streaming sounds great. I use the Oticon beta app and hope the companion app gets updated soon to match the capabilities of the beta app. I love the always connected option of the beta app. But on a second note the companion app also works great it is just slowly at connecting when I open it. I am wondering what the firmware update for my INTENT1 aids will add as my aids aren’t updated yet.
Here’s a thread on Resound Nexia and S24. Others have reported issues. An update is always a possibility but I wouldn’t bet on it. Probably should report it to both Samsung and Nexia. (And yes, it’s possible it’s specific to Exynos version although it sounded like there were generic S24 issues)
