I’ve made a profile on smartfit with the original settings and wondering if I do reprogram them, and if for any reason I needed to send them in for warranty (battery faults etc) is it as simple as me reinstating the original setup, or would there be some kind of indicator to flag it up do you think?

Your Audiologist will always know when someone has saved ANY settings to the hearing aids . Why? The DateTimestamp match/mismatch comparison is not based on the actual settings. It is based on a comparison of the HA-DateTimestamp versus the database-DateTimestamp. When/if you return to your Audiologist, then your Audi will get a settings mismatch warning. The warning will occur even if you revert back to the Original Professional Settings because the DateTimestamp will never match your Audi’s database. There is no way around it except to never save settings to the HAs.

Also, I think that creating a new client for saving original settings is a silly idea. The proper place to save original settings is in session #1 of the respective client. Tip: When viewing a client you may need to click an expansion arrow> in order to change the condensed session view into an expanded session view showing all client sessions with session names/comments.
