Jabra hearing aids - how water resistant are they - are there "waterproof" hearing aids

I’ve got the Jabra Enhance Pro 30. Got them at Costco about a month ago.
I’ve enjoyed being able to use them at the gym and working outside in the garden.
Prior to these “water resistant” HA’s I was using headphones when at the gym and when working outside in the heat.

My fitter told me to just use these Jabras as they are water resistant. I wondered how long they’d last. I know Costco is great with the returns so no fears, but I’ve had trouble before and have opened my prior HA’s and seen the rust damage in them.

During a good week I’ll work up a sweat 5 days. The Jabra’s have lasted about 6 weeks. I hate to return to my headphones during workouts and when gardening. Are there any other people who have had better luck sweating into their HA’s. Is there a brand that is more waterproof?

Jabra Enhance Pro 30

According to the Jabra website, your hearing aids are IP68.

This is consistent with most hearing aids that I’ve been looking at.

I think you’ll be okay given the activities you mention, but it’s probably a good idea to clean them after those activities.

A few weeks ago, I accidentally left my Jabra Enhanced Pro 30 hearing aids in the shower. I usually wash my hair last. That was when I realized I still had them in my ears. I exited the shower and placed them on a towel on the counter. When I was finished with the shower, I wiped them off and they have worked fine since. Obviously, I didn’t soak them, nor submerged them in the water.
