Jabra Enhance Pro 30's battery

Wow these aids last long on a full charge. Just for kicks i fully charged them and put them in at 9am on friday. I wore them all day till after 11pm and turned them off. Got up Saturday and put them in at about 10am and wore them till 10pm that night and still had 40% charge showing. That was with about 3-4 hours of using with my tv streamer each day and with using power receivers and darn near topped out in gains (i have severe to profound loss). Just amazing for such a increase over my original Pro’s and being so much smaller.

Good to know since im considering going from my Jabra Pro 20s with disposable batteries to the Jabra 30s.

FWIW I went 13 days on my last set of #13 batteries and they had still not given a warning beep.

What functions do I loose if I go with disposable batteries with the Pro 30s? I’m not fond of relying on a charger.

AI. The deep neural network for listening in noise is only available with the rechargeable ric aid.

I also tested my charger and get about 4 full charges before having to plug it in after its fully charged. So you can easily take it with while, say, camping or when no outlet is available, like when power goes out

That would be a biggie. Thanks.

Since they need 2 chips in the aid for dnn the replaceable battery versions just dont have to power to run both chips

I do know that you lose the tap to answer phone calls using replaceable batteries. Why not go with the charger? The one that comes with the Jabra E/H Pro 30s has a built in battery. It will charge the hearing aids three full charges. That’s three days of use without plugging the charger into the wall socket. Three days of camping or three days of power failures.

That’s a good solution. During a big power outage here recently, I wondered if I would end up not being able to hear before too long. My Phonak charger doesn’t have a battery backup, but I could buy a portable power supply.
