Jabra Enhance Pro 30 Double Tap not working

Two weeks ago I traded my Jabra Enhance Pro 20 in for the Pro 30, and I do find they are an improvement in sound quality and especially in noisy environments.

Now, my problem. I can receive phone call on my hearing aides by answering my cell phone, but I cannot double tap the hearing aides to answer the cell phone.

My phone is a Samsung S21+ with Android 15.

Has anyone else had problems with “double tap” with Android phones?

I have a Samsung S25 and I can get the “double tap” to work but it’s more like a bunch of taps.

I typically have my phone on a charge stand during work and can see when I call comes in. I typically have to tap the hearing aids a bunch of times to get it to pick up. Without being able to see that the phone is responding, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with just using the “double tap”.

If you go to the Jabra app on your phone, under “My Enhanced Pro”, there’s a function for, “TapControl”. I have the hearing aids connected to an iPhone, which may be different when connected to an Android phone. But, it’s worth checking out.

I also traded my Jabra Enhanced Pro 20s for the 30s and found a large improvement in the sound quality, and the noise filter works better in noisy places. My test location was, “Texas Roadhouse”, restaurant. It’s one of the loudest environments I know of and they have excellent food, for the price.

Flyboybob,

The Android version doesn’t have the “TapControl” function. BTW, do you fly?

I have the tap control on my samsung z flip 5
Do you have rechargable or 312 version of the jabra 30?

I used to fly. Now I teach full flight simulator instructors how to teach others to fly corporate type airplanes.

On my Samsun S25, in Jabra EnhancePro app, there is a TapControl feature listed on the My Enhance tab.

Same here, I used to have a Piper Cherokee 180 until it became a submarine during a hurricane when the airport flooded in southern Louisiana.

Interesting, I don’t see it anywhere in the app.

Works fine with my S24fe

I think you are mistaken. From my S24fe/Jabra app

Well, I contacted Jabra support and they said the only Samsung phones that support the double tap are the S23 and S25. So, it looks like if I want that feature I will have to upgrade.

Thanks to everyone that tried to help me with this problem.

Do you wear a smart watch?

I always answer calls using the button on my Garmin running watch. Call still goes through phone and hearing aids (Jabra Pro 30s)

I never thought of that. I will have to give that a try with my Fitbit.

your AUD can turn it on in Resound Smart Fit software

You never answered … do you have the rechargable model ?

Only the Micro RIE has tap control

If yours has rocker switch … I don’t think it has tap control

Yes, they are rechargeable, and it has one push button.

Then It should have tap control
Have your AUD set it up for you .

It is probably disabled in the smart fit software
