I just got this hearing aid from Costco. Works well. The main issue is that when I take a call on my iPhone (12 mini, iOS18) or stream Bluetooth, after I disconnect the call or stop the music, it will not turn on the hearing aids. As I have set the microphone to mute when using bluetooth.
Instead, I have to manually turn up the microphone on the setting after each use. Resound never had this issue.
I also have the Jabra Enhanced Pro 20s and I couldn’t figure out how to end a call that I made. I haven’t tried streaming music because of the, “Tinny”, sound quality through the hearing aids but I have only tried it once. I’m also a newbie, and I have only worn them for about a month. I called up Jabra’s customer help line and was told that to get your iPhone to hang up you must press the button on either hearing aid one quick press. If someone calls you, when they end the call you won’t have to press the button to end the call. I think that’s how it works. Jabra’s documentation leaves a lot to be desired.
If anyone has a different answer from experience let us know.
This is my experience with my Jabras as well. I tap the volume button on either hearing aid to end my calls. I double tap the hearing aids to answer a call. Works well.
Thanks, that part works well, however the recipients of the calls say they can’t hear me or I sound like I’m talking in a barrel. Taking my phone out of my pocket and talking to it directly works just fine.
If taking the phone out and speaking into the microphone solves your problem then it sounds like you’re hearing aids are configured to use the phone’s microphone in the first place. It does not sound like they are configured to use the hearing aids microphone. Otherwise taking it out of your pocket and speaking into the microphone would not work. Maybe I am missing something in your description?
