Jabra Enhance Pro 20 Bluetooth disconnect issues

I have connection problems with my Galaxy S23 Ultra. I find I must turn off my Samsung watch 6 and my Samsung S8 Tab and then cycle the bluetooth on my phone for a solid connection. However, restarting bluetooth on either my phone or my tablet eventually disrupts the phone connection.

I have a S23 Ultra and have a similar problem. I note that the S22 you mention and which my spouse uses) is not on the supported list, so I’m holding up on another purchase until they get this problem figured out.

I am having problem with EP 20 Bluetooth connection with my pixel 7 pro since I have EP 20. When EP 20 connected. Videos doesn’t play on any app. This doesn’t happens when other BT is connected. The calls are disaster too. I cannot find any support from Jabra. I am seriously thinking switching to iPhone unless anyone help me with this. Please share tips if you have. Thanks.

If you have LE Audio on, try turning it off. I have much greater stability with the standard ASHA protocol.

Go to Settings - Connections - Bluetooth. Find the gear icon to the right of your hearing aids. Select that. The first choice there is for LE Audio. Make sure it is off.

Then go back to Bluetooth and turn it off and back on. That should put you in the ASHA protocol. You will be able to hear sounds on the phone though the HAs but you need to speak through the phone.

Several fixes to LE Audio and dual mode phones like we have are coming to Android 15.

I have the Galaxy S23 Ultra and have had similar problems. That said videos have worked for me though I have not always had sound in one or both ears with LE Audio.

I still have to turn Bluetooth off and back on once in a while… every several days… but it is much more stable.

I hope this helps some.

I am still struggling with connection to Galaxy S23 Ultra. First one ear drops then it may come back then the other ear then finally both are gone. Restarting bluetooth did not work for me. I had already unchecked my LE audio some time ago because I thought it was working better that way but maybe it is time to check back and use LE Audio. Only restarting my phone works or unpairing and a complete reinstall of the app. I will retry the unchecking LE option. I have just 30 more days before I try out their 6 month return policy. I note that if you have a PIXEL phone there is a beta out for testing but not for Samsung. It looks like Android 15 could be out there by late fall.

I have the S23 Ultra as well as those issues at times.

That does not always work for me either. I often have to disconnect and reconnect the hearing aids. In settings - connections - Bluetooth there is a gear icon next to my HAs name. The same place as you turn LE Audio off or on at. At the bottom of the page there is a disconnect button. If I disconnect and reconnect the HAs it often fixes my issues. I then turn Bluetooth off and on at that point. For what ever reason, sometimes I do both

I am sorry you are having so much difficulty. I have not had to go to measures like unpairing or reinstalling the app. I have restarted my phone once in the past couple weeks when the above two Bluetooth toggles did not work.

And yes I have LE Audio unchecked when I want less issues.

I am excited about Android 15 also.

Are re-starts needed often?
I don’t use the Jabra app on my iPhone very often, but many a time it’s not engaged when I need it. Should I have to re-connect it every day, just to be sure?
Is it sufficient just to “off/on” Bluetooth occasionally/daily?
Management advice needed.

I do not restart my phone except for updates to the app or other software updates. I do not think you need to reconnect it or toggle Bluetooth just to be sure. If it does not connect when you need it, you can then toggle Bluetooth. If that does not work then disconnect and reconnect the HAs. I suppose you can go through that ahead of time when you know you are going to need it.

That is all I do. I am on Android but it should not matter. Mostly it just works for me. I disconnect my HAs Bluetooth connection at times when I want my watch to sync the health data, which it does not do over LTE, or when my car wants to engage with my phone’s Bluetooth. Reconnecting is what works for me. Then sometimes toggling Bluetooth as well. And again, I have never needed to restart my phone except for updates.

I hope this helps.

This is an older post, but I recently had a strange issue with my Jabra Enhance Pro aids. They stopped connecting to the iPhone app. They would connect and then after a couple of seconds disconnect. I tried everything including deleting and reloading the app, putting the aids in the charging cradle, etc., etc. Nothing worked. I finally gave up and put them in the charging cradle for the night. The next morning, voila! They connected and remained connected. Who knows???

I think they won’t connect or stay connected to Bluetooth if the batteries in the hearing are too low. So maybe that was your problem?

Yes, I thought of that, but when I put them into the charging cradle it showed them about 2/3 charged. I suspect the cradle charge indicator is inaccurate, and they were indeed discharged.
