In-Situ is good for anything above 1k, and tends to make happier first time patients because it is giving us a picture of how the ear will respond to the hearing aid as opposed to inserts or headphones.
I usually stay with the audiogram for 1k and below, and use the in-situ measurements for 1k and above.
