Hear Advisor Review of Resound Vivia

For me, patient with only one hearing ear (CI in the second, poorer ear). Sphere has many positives:

  1. Its AI works not only unilateral, but also could work with only one microphone (but Infinio Sphere has 2 mics, for better efficiency).

Resound Vivia AI is probably useless in my case, because it’s AI requires binaural fitting for getting its full capability. I suppose that AI in Vivias are mainly for more accurate adjustments of the directionality - nothing new for me.

  1. It’s not true that Sphere has poor battery life (I am aware you told mainly about your Marvels). It’s only, when you have manual Spheric AI program for 7-8 hours. In automatic mode it works even 2-2.5 days.
In the forum there is many users, who participate in business meetings, flying etc. and they don’t complain about battery life.

  2. Honestly, I can’t understand complaining about the Sphere size. Maybe I am biased because I saw small children who use Naida Sky hearing aids, which are definitely larger.
Not to mention the sound processors, which are HUGE compared to the Naidas and particularly Sphere and are still used even by 1-2 year old babies.

I use the glasses with thin frame and can use even masks with no problem.

Okay, I understand, that there are small ears, etc., but still, I remind myself about mentioned babies, and I’m not convinced.
