Harmony ll (Miracle Ear) Software Installation Issues

Hi,
Having issues installing Harmony ll on Windows 10 64 Bit OS.
Seems to Install fine but won’t open, displays this window and never moves forward from there.

Have to close it with Task Manager.
Shows 32 Bit, maybe that is the issue??
Already tried Compatibility Mode for Win 7, No Good, won’t even install.

Thoughts??

What installation file did you use? This installation file works okay on Windows 10 for me;

Hmmm,
I don’t recall choosing a programmer during setup.

I doubt choosing a default programming device will make a difference.

Well Miracle Ear is using Connexx fitting software along with MEFit database, so,

  • It seems to be something on your computer because mine works
  • Maybe your installs are encountering some leftover settings

Do you have a way to try this on a different (and/or) clean computer?

Read the long Connexx paragraph in the software thread. Maybe you could try a different Connexx 8.5/database version to see if it gives you a choice between ME database and whatever else you use. This is just a suggestion about trying something else. I dunno if it might work?

PVC,
The laptop I was using already has Genie installed and my settings saved.

Are you saying that I do not need the Harmony ll just use Connexx??

I have the Connexx 8 loaded I will try and see if the aids are detected.

This is for my Dad’s ME HAs, so it will be a while before i can try it, I don’t have my 312 pills yet.

No, not exactly. It depends on how you use it.

I am saying that Harmony ll is Connexx. Did you read the Connexx: paragraph that describes multiple Connexx dabases?

Maybe not. I tried loading Signia (SiFit) and it just seems to keep them separate and each version has it’s own/different hearing aid list.

But here’s what you might try;

  1. Uninstall Harmony II
  2. Install Connexx 8.5 with SiFit to see if this also fails on your laptop

That might narrow down the scope of the problem.

Got it.
After installing Connexx 8.5 over Connexx 8 Harmony ll loaded without issue…
Strange, but happy now.
Now just waiting for the 312 Pills to read the MEs

Hey I need the setup file of harmony can you please give me i had a file but it got corrupted due to malware

Can anyone send me a PM with a link or the Harmony 2 files? I used to work for ME and still have ME aids and can’t use regular Connexx to adjust them. Need Harmony 2 and can’t get it through my old employer and I’d like to make changes to my aids.
