I finally got a proper phone replacement but can’t remember how to get the calls to come from phone to my Phonak Lumity 90 rechargeable.
Maybe I could figure it out eventually but there are several important calls I need to make ASAP so if anyone can help me I would truly appreciate your efforts.
I also need to repair to my Phonak Roger Select but it was such a huge thing last time I’m just focused now on getting calls set up.
Put your hearing aids in pairing mode by putting them in the charger and then removing them (or turning them off and then on again). On your Android, go to settings, connections then Bluetooth and add the hearing aids. That should do it. Once a connection is made on my Samsung phone there is a setting wheel on the same line which give me the option to stream phone, audio or both.
They are paired to my phone but they aren’t picking up phone calls
Check the settings wheel to the right to see the options
during the pairing process you have to pair & accept three times for three devices.
Each pair of Phonak HA come with three Bluetooth device handlers.
There are two Bluetooth Low Energy devices ( Left / Right hearing aid controlls are the low energy ones , the BT_LE R and BT_LE L ) and this two are only handling the controlling features via the MyPhonak App (no audio signal processing happens on these two bluetooth devices)
The third Bluetooth Device have a symbol looking like a Headset and this is the one you need for the audio streaming & Phone Calls/hands free feature. This is the classic bluetooth device for audio signals: R-Phonak hearing aid
So during the pairing process you should get three devices that you need to accept and confirm.
If you only have paired the one R-Phonak hearing aid paired, then you are ready to have the audio stream for both hearing aids. Because there is only one hearing aid (the right R) that act as master hearing aid and the right aid sends the audio to the left hearing aid ( intercom from device R to device L)
Have you tried to pair again the hearing aids ?
