Can someone please provide a link for the phonak target 6.0 or higher software. I’m so tired of having to drive 1.5 hours each way to have a minor adjustment made.

So…I got whacked a couple of weeks ago by Phonak for sharing Target software. I did it one person at a time, here. Meaning, one of the people I shared it with was a representative of Phonak - or, despite my asking people to NOT share my link they shared it with someone.
It was my personal Dropbox account and the only links were created when I sent someone a direct link. They shut down all sharing from my Dropbox account, which put me on the line with clients I was legitimately sharing with for work. Anyway, I won’t be sharing anymore.
And you know, it’s stupid that Phonak doesn’t provide access for those who want to be able to make their hearing aid experience more pleasing to them. Try as you might to express what you need to a fitter, I’ve never had one actually be able to hit 100%.
Anyway, if you are sharing, beware. There seems to be someone here who’s only interested in people NOT getting Target…

So your saying Phonak was able to close down your Dropbox account?
Google wouldn’t jump just because Phonak said so, Google would contact you to be sure you didn’t have legitimate use of the software before placing restrictions or closing your account,

That’s too bad. Sorry to hear you were set up like that. All while trying to help.
I will probably get flamed for this but I think software should only be shared with members who have been a part of this forum for a while and maybe have a certain amount of posts so we get a chance to know who we are sharing the software with.

I think having the software available is a plus that can make you decide for one brand or another when it comes to changing hearing aids.
In my case, at least, it has. I went from Siemens to Phonak because I was able to get a copy of the software, a pair of CS-44a and a very cheap hearing aid for testing. And the truth is that I’m very happy with the change. I probably wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have the software.

They suspended sharing on my paid Dropbox account. Dropbox re-enabled it when I pulled the Target software. I have no idea who it was. I shared one on one to about 30 people over the last six months.

there are other options besides dropbox. you dont have to put up with that crap

Correct about not having to put up with this crap and worrying Brutus assassins. Just do a search for transferring large files anonymously and there are several free services available. If someone wishes to receive a software file from a member, they will have to make their email address publicly available, at least for a short time. If a member has the file they are looking for and wishes to share they can send it and the requestor will receive a link to the file in their email with no idea where it came from.
