DIY School - (v2.0)

You can manually update using Genie2 updater from the systems tray or have it set to automatically do it.

It was there just didn’t install it lol. The word update was grayed out in genie 2. So I told it to install update from tool bar in windows and I will see later if it fixes issue after the gym.

The update fixed the issue with in-situ audiometry. Thanks

Hi! I’m in need of Phonak Target software for a Luminy HA. A download link would be much appreciated. Tenkan said to come to this thread but the Dropbox file said Target is hidden and to request it here. Many thanks in advance! Kind regards, Nigel

Oh ok, that’s good to hear, strange problem tho.

Now I was able to set up my new opn 1 and speech in sound works !!! Because in-situ worked. Speech rescue turned on automatically. I can hear at bar!!! Better then my audiologist did.

Hey that’s awesome, always good to hear about a successful DIY project.

Hi, Can someone please send me the Phonak Target (Lumity) programming SW link please.
Many thanks in advance.

Sure but don’t forget you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device as well for DIY projects, did you read the DIY files from @PVC lots of information there. A basic guide for target is here.

My first post on the HT forum as I’m a newbie and about to try the Oticon Real 1, if my audiologist in the U.K. can get them soon. Could someone please send me a link for the Genie 2 software so I know what options are available during fitting?

I have already noted the requirement for a Noahlink Wireless programmer for later and many thanks to @pvc for making so much information available here

Thanks @pvc and @tenkan for the warm welcome.

Today we received a pair of “Naida P50-UP” for our little son. I will first read the documentation and instructions and check the software before I order a programming device, if you already have a tip on which device is suitable, I would be happy to hear from you.

Mainly we want to understand the details of the profiles provided by the audiologist and see what can be configured in general - to find out what might help him to learn to speak/understand.

Here’s a clip from DIY School PDF file named (Choose Hardware-Programming Device for Phonak). Hint; Noahlink Wireless.

Sure sounds like a plan, but could I ask how old is your son, because I personally don’t recommend DIY for young children, you should work with your audiologist is this case.

Good luck.
