Disappointed after annual review of Phonak Audeo Paradise P90R's

Dr Cliff said that Oticon HAs are good in high pitch amplification and processing.

I hope you’re feeling better soon!

Wearing my old bolero b70s has been quite the experience.

I’m going to stop criticizing rechargeable batteries! I’ve missed my Paradise P90Rs and their charger.

I feel im receiving excellent service from Phonak and my hearing instrument specialist.

When I bought my first hearing aid I bought the cheapest I could. It was an in the ear Widex.

It was moulded twice. First didn’t work. Second hurt and I would take it out

We all have different shaped ear canals.

Is this a fatal flaw?

Maybe AI will help and prevent the issues with inserts. Domes. Wax guards.

Follow up

Hearing Well Matters sent mu hearing aids and charger off to Phonak just before my warranty ended

Phonak replaced both hearing aids and the charger. Sent them back with 2P power receivers. They had replaced one

I’m very grateful

I used my 5 year old Phonak Bolero B70’s as spares. They were very relaxing to use. They were so so as hearing aids. Had 2 Power Receivers.

I would think you’d do better with custom molds, but as you say, everybody is different. I think you’re pretty satisfied with current setup so perhaps leave well enough alone.

@MDB

I think day-to-day problems will be solved when I get the new Phonak 5.0 POWER receivers promised to me. That will replace the miniscule wax guards I hate.

Last night I put in Power Domes. I have 4.0 Large and Medium. Took out the Large. they are awful and feel awful. I still have the Medium ones in. I switched because I had issues, real issues, not understanding conversation outside and inside at work. So Target is still setup for closed domes (with two small holes.)

After 20 years of hearing aid use I never expected such stress for the three years I’ve used these Paradise P90R’s. They’re supplied by workman’s compensation. I’m really grateful for that.

The term for new hearing aids is 5 years. I can’t get new ones now. Im really grateful that HWM took me on as a client. Ontario workman’s compensation is on a mission to save costs.

I’ve been told twice today I’m not hearing well.
