Costco ReSound Cala (Product Information)

I would definitely go with the size 13 batteries because your greater hearing loss (like mine) will draw more power from your aids. My KS5s barely get 3 days on batteries now that my hearing has declined with age. I also stream more now because it significantly enhances my word recognition but also uses more power.

I never updated my post above.

I had my Costco Cala remade specifying a deeper/smaller fit. They completely delivered on that. Because it sits much deeper, I don’t have any more wind/jaw/etc noises.
It has been a perfect aid for me. No wireless adjustments, since it is small IIC and cannot fit wireless tech into it, but it is dialed in and works perfect for me.
I have accidentally swam with it 2-3 times, played soccer in downpour rain, and it still works perfectly.
Over 3 years later and I haven’t had to send it in for anything.
I have had my Starkey Soundlens 2 sent in and repaired 4 times in that same time period.
I stopped in a few days ago to ask about repair costs in case it does break some day.
$140 and it comes with a 1yr warranty. Wow!
Starkey charges $300 for the same thing (once out of warranty).

My next aids will be Costco Resound again.
