I was not aware that the Select can have the range increased if needed, if you’re further away.
Useful to know Altho battery life is affected.
(I was sent this information.)

Boosted range is great I keep on all the time.
Thanks for this @Zebras. I vaguely knew of it, but haven’t used it. There’s a similar thing on the Roger ON I am trying (but is activated from the App).
I have never had need to use the extended range yet … most of the time I wish there was a range reducer! This would help me inasmuch as that it would stop the Roger picking up other tables’ conversations!
It’s not that kind of range.
It’s the distance you can move away from the Microphone and still pick up the signal.
Ah, ok … got it. Thanks!
But the Roger TableMic does have that type of adjustment capability. It really is possible to adjust it to limit the pick-up range to avoid interference from other tables at a restaurant.
I got notified of this post but I’m not sure why.
The thread is about how far you can walk away from the Microphone without being cut off from the signal.
Not about how much the Microphone picks up on the next table. I’ve never had that issue.
How to extend/decrease Roger signal range to the receiver in HA in Roger On?
