Update–Got my Samsung Galaxy S24 a few days ago and pretty instantly had 2 way hands-free calling! My husband says he has never heard me more clearly on calls! It’s been a one year pursuit, but I’m glad I made the move.

Meanwhile, today my S24 popped up with the “new updated ready to install” notification… but alas, its only security updates… 
Probably need to wait another month now …

It looks like the S24 phones will get OneUI7 the by the end of this month. The S23 possibly by the end of this month but more likely in March

Follow up on my new S25. Good news to report. While I would have given my previous experience with the Jabra Enhance Pro 20 a grade of C- which was an improvement from an F when I first got them early in 2024, I would now give them a solid B+. I now only need to reset them once a day when the phone call won’t transfer to the hearing aid. The streaming is near perfect for my podcasts while walking. I have yet tryout answering a call while listening to a livestream. I do wonder how much of the improvement is due to the faster chip processing and design and how much is software tweaking. The only bad news on my S25 is that my set has a charging problem (won’t charge on USB-C unless the plug goine into the power supply is in the correct direction. I am hoping they can get a firmware fix rolled out in a month. The bottom line for me is they are now good enough so that I will stick with them until some of the newer technology that was rolled out at CES2025 matures and drops in price over the coming year. I will be interested to hear if the problems on your S24 are minimized when you get the the new ONE UI 7.0 later this month (hopefully).
