Bluetooth LE audio enabled on PC with M.2 Intel BE200, next step?

I managed to get Bluetooth LE audio enabled on my Windows 11 PC by installing an M.2 Intel BE200, and adding some drivers manually.
Has anyone actually streamed audio from their PC to the hearing aids?
I now have the latest Starkey Edge AI - but not clear how to stream from PC yet.
The aid is paired to the computer but doesn’t show up as an output device?
Not much info out there related to hearing aid LE audio…

Try to click the loudspeaker button (usually at right down corner) unwind the list and then choose HA.

At least I do that with Classic Bluetooth.

Warning: make sure you have volume tirned down before any play.

Nope - it isn’t showing up as an audio device (see image) - that is the issue.
In order to stream audio it needs to be available as an audio device.
So the hearing aid is paired and connected, the PC can see the battery level and program preset, but it is not an audio device for seome reason…

I understand. Did tou look here?

it looks like others also have issues with Intel BE200 and LE Audio

It is enabled on my PC. There are threads in Reddit that show how to manually install the drivers. Everything should be fine.

What about this from Andrew Bellavia

You know that everyone’s going to suggest that you “forget” your aids in Bluetooth settings and start over? Me too! Except that I’d suggest you do it with Bluetooth turned off on your phone. On my setup there are issues with one device or the other holding on to a LE Audio connection. Worth a try. Is “Personal” a program on your hearing aids? Also “driver error” under Bluetooth radio?

They’re also testing Auracast in church (part 2 of Bellavia’s post). @cvkemp, IIRC, you were interested in that?

Sorry @tenkan - I can’t see that. Once I retired i deleted my LinkedIn account, no use for it.

@d_Wooluf the Bluetooth radio driver error was related to a second Bluetooth dongle that I had forgotten was plugged into the back. It has since been removed and that error is no more.

I have found with both this Starkey Edge aid and the previous Genesis that the Bluetooth LE connecton is not great. I have other devices that have good robust LE connections. Before I upgraded to the Edge, Starkey support had assured me that the Edge had a MUCH better radio in it that improved Bluetooth connections. I don’t see evidence of that yet. I have contacted my audiologist to confirm with Starkey that they have actually “enabled” Auracast - and not just announced that it is “ready” to be enabled🙄

I will try forgetting the aid on my phone, but I already reset the Bluetooth connection which kills EVERYTHING so I don’t expect to see a difference. The aid has also been removed (forgotten) quite a number of times in the installation process. I have had problems connecting both the Genesis and Edge aid generally. Likely something to do with their Android implementation?
Hoping for a magical firmware update at the moment.

…and yes, Personal is a preset program on the hearing aid.

I have it.
It’s kind of like general/everyday program.

Our church has a loop system but I don’t use it anymore as I don’t need it with my INTENT1 aids.

I was curious because with my Philips Hearlink and EVO laptop it isn’t finding the programs on the hearing aid. I outlined some issues I’m having here.
