Bluetooth connects when I don't want it

I have Phonak Audéo P90-312 's. After 2 years of use they suddenly either start up or switch to Bluetooth for no reason.
On my iPhone the only ones connected to Bluetooth are LE_L, LE_R and the other streaming one (?) which I have changed the name of.
How can I fix this?

Try to silence the sound of notifications.

I had similar issues recently. Try restarting your phone.

I have always had notification sound on and never had a problem. I cannot turn it off because it is important for work.

Michelle, I turn my mobile off every night and on in the morning, the same as I always have done

Allright. Are there other Bluetooth devices besides the iPhone that HA could connect to? Or maybe there are apps running in the background that could play sound and trigger Bluetooth.

Do you have myPhonak installed? I find the LE_L, R can be problematic with that app. Not sure why. You could try un-installing the app, also “forget” your aids on that iPhone, then turn BT OFF … ON, and re-pair and reconnect the aids WITHOUT the myPhonak app. See if that stabilizes the BT connecting with your aids.

Occasionally, I have some “interference” if I have BT turned on my laptop AND the cellphone BT on, paired + connected to my aids. So you could always try to turn the BT off any device you don’t need and see if your situation stabilizes.

I have an Android phone, so perhaps things are different with iPhone. Hope others chime in here.

Could also be Bluetooth problem. Try to ask your Audi to check if your hearing aid has the most updated software version. I recently updated firmware to 1.0.13.0 version.

You may try resetting the HAs as described in the video.

I have been trialling Audéo and now Sphere. They both have this behaviour. Whenever an animated web page is displayed it switches to bluetooth streaming. When I scroll past the item the HAs switch back to Automatic. Very annoying

There are annoying autoplaying pop-ups, advertisements, or videos. In the internet browser settings (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.), there should be a feature for turning them off.

I believe this is a Phonak issue. Other brands do not have these problems, e.g. Widex

You should be able to go into settings and turn all that stuff off.
I use Brave with an add blocker.
In settings it ask if you want to turn off auto play videos, sound, no pop ups.
I haven’t seen that stuff in forever.
